HARMAN-LogoHarman has announced that it has completed its acquisition of Martin Professional A/S of Denmark. Martin is a provider of lighting solutions for the entertainment, architectural and commercial sectors, and its acquisition advances Harman’s capacity to serve customers in a wide variety of applications and geographic markets with advanced, highly integrated AV and lighting systems.

In doing so, I am confident we’ll also drive growth into emerging markets and vertical markets where digital technologies are increasingly central to the commercial enterprise, specifically transportation, hospitality, retail, communications and education.”

As a leader in dynamic lighting solutions, Martin lighting systems are respected globally. Most recently, the outdoor Martin LED lighting system was showcased during Super Bowl XLVII at the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Martin luminaires have also recently been used for live performances by rock acts such as the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Coldplay, as well as for the latest Broadway and West End musicals. Martin is in the process of launching new products across all of its product lines, including new models in the MAC Viper family, as well as new creative LED video products, lighting control solutions, new atmospheric smoke solutions and more.
