KMCMusicorp has announced the death of Inside Sales Manager Dave Jones. Based in KMC’s Charleston SC office, Jones built his career around his love for music. Most recently, Jones served as Call Center Manager for KMC. However, he was also known for being a player, educator, product developer and salesman. Prior to KMC, Jones worked for an impressive line-up of industry organizations, including Musician’s Friend, C. Bruno & Son, Kaman Music Corp., St. Louis Music and Musicorp. An avid guitar and bass player, Jones played with numerous bands and musical acts around the country, such as The Texas Tornados, Johnny Paycheck, Lowcountry Blues Club and Not So Serious.
“Dave was a true professional, especially as a businessman and musician. He was loved by our customers and his co-workers, and will be greatly missed,” said Dan Roberts, KMC Vice President of Sales.
Dave Jones’ leadership, personality and kindness will be greatly missed by the KMC family. “He was the best boss I have ever known,” said Eric Kranz, Sales Associate for KMC.
