Country music superstar Vince Gill makes an encore appearance at Summer NAMM as he joins co-host Tom Bedell of Two Old Hippies for “Insight: Iconic Artists and the Gear That Inspires Them.” This year’s must-attend event, held the evening of Wednesday, July 16, the night before the show opens, brings Gill and Bedell together with some of their all-star musician friends. Hear never-before-shared stories behind the treasured instruments that brought these musicians’ greatest hits to life. Gill’s band, “The Players,” will provide the soundtrack to this opening-night party that promises to leave those lucky enough to be there buzzing well after Summer NAMM.
“We all remember our first instrument and how it changed our lives forever,” said Two Old Hippies Founder Tom Bedell. “For the second year of ‘Insight,’ Vince Gill and I will interview some of the most iconic artists in Nashville. In a ‘songwriter in the round’ format, these artists will share stories about the instruments that changed their lives and shaped their music. My hunch is that we will also witness some incredible performances. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime evening!”
