Korg USA Inc. employees and family members get ready for the 3.5-mile run/walk.

More than 60 staff members from Korg USA Inc., and their families, joined more than 12,000 runners, walkers and spectators at the 2016 Marcum Workplace Challenge 3.5-mile run/walk at Jones Beach State Park on Long Island NY.

The challenge donates its proceeds to the Children’s Medical Fund of New York, the Long Island Children’s Museum, Long Island Cares, the Harry Chapin Food Bank and the Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. ‘

Korg USA Inc. earned recognition as the “Most Colorful” from event organizers for the team’s creative tie-dye T-shirts, which boasted “Making Noise Since 1985” on the back.

“Anytime we can get together out of the office with our colleagues, families and friends is a win for us. Korg USA Inc. is always encouraging employees to get moving and stay focused on our well-being. The Marcum Challenge was a highlight of this summer, and we are very appreciative that our executive team sponsors this event and makes it possible for every employee to attend,” commented Morgan Walker, Korg USA’s Senior Marketing Communications Manager.

Although the total fundraising proceeds for this year had not yet been announced as of press time, the event, to date, has raised nearly $600,000 for charity.
