The newly formed Marshall USA (MUSA) sales team recently visited the company’s headquarters in Bletchley, England. As part of the visit, MUSA VP of sales, Jason Gano, and his four Regional Business Managers (RBMs)—Tony Santi, Vance Marshall, Eric Senderoff and Matt Kanjo—got the rare opportunity to handle the 1962-built prototype Marshall JTM45 that literally started it all. This legendary amplifier lives in a glass case in the Marshall museum at the factory and is known as “#1 Amp,” as that’s what the late, great Jim Marshall always called it.
