QSC Audio Products, LLC, has appointed the Peter E. Schmitt Company as its manufacturer’s representative for Metro New York. Peter E Schmitt is one of the country’s oldest, most respected independent rep firms, its roots dating back nearly 90 years.

Founded in 1926 by F. Edwin Schmitt, the company’s first line was Sangamo capacitors, currently known as Cornell Dubilier, which served as the cornerstone for its OEM division and a line that it still represents today. Its first foray into professional audio products began in 1931 with the addition of Shure Brothers; over the years, it has grown to represent a variety of professional audio, lighting and video manufacturers.
